Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive MacOS Device Management Specialist to architect, implement, and maintain efficient and secure management solutions for MacOS systems. This role requires hands-on expertise in using JAMF Pro, a strong understanding of MacOS security, and the ability to collaborate with teams to optimize device management and credential use policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, Implement, and Maintain JAMF Pro
Develop and manage JAMF Pro configurations for efficient and secure MacOS system management.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and best practices for device management.
- Deploy Security Updates:
Manage and deploy MacOS updates and relevant application security patches to maintain a secure environment.
Monitor systems to ensure successful updates and resolve any related issues.
- Issue Resolution:
Diagnose and resolve issues related to MacOS device management during standard business hours (EST).
Provide exceptional troubleshooting support to ensure system reliability and user satisfaction.
- On-Site Support:
Be available to support physical device management tasks, including setup, deployment, and maintenance of hardware.
- Collaborate on Admin Credential Management:
Work closely with the SWX team to develop and implement a comprehensive plan for managing the use of admin credentials by SWX developers.
Ensure compliance with security protocols and minimize risks associated with elevated privileges.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with JAMF Pro for managing MacOS systems.
- Strong understanding of MacOS architecture, security practices, and application management.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to MacOS device management.
- Experience in deploying and managing security updates for MacOS systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to provide on-site support as required.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with SWX or similar software development environments.
- Experience in managing admin credential policies and minimizing associated risks.
- Relevant certifications in MacOS device management or JAMF Pro.
