ACENSI BELGIUM is looking for his Client a Dutch-speaking Copywriter / Storyteller.

Context of the Assignment :

Dutch-speaking Storyteller

As a Storyteller, you will work for the Marketing & Communications department.

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team (squad) focused on a specific customer segment, working in an agile mode.

You will report to the Head of Storytelling (Chapter Lead).

This is a long-term mission with a renewable contract.

Job Description: Your Responsibilities

  • Translate campaign briefings into creative concepts that resonate with the target audience.
  • Write engaging and accessible content for various formats: SoMe posts, emails, articles, speeches, scripts, web pages, etc., applying the brand’s tone of voice and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with a French-speaking storyteller by translating and adapting their texts into Dutch.
  • Work with the video team to develop creative concepts and translate these into storyboards and scripts.
  • Think of innovative solutions to effectively communicate complex messages.
  • Find creative ways to repurpose content across different channels and formats.
  • Use AI tools to optimize content production.
  • Collaborate with designers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of content.
  • Draft microcopy and UX copy for websites and transactional applications (EBA, EBW, EBB).

Language Requirements

  • Dutch: Excellent knowledge (native level).
  • French: Strong proficiency: you can understand French briefings, actively participate in multilingual meetings, and translate/adapt French texts into Dutch.
  • English: Good proficiency: you can translate and adapt English texts into Dutch.

Education

You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in communication, journalism, literature, or a related field, or have equivalent work experience.

Experience and Required Knowledge :

Mandatory

  • Experienced storyteller (minimum 3 years) with Dutch as your native language.
  • Capable of efficiently interpreting briefings and transforming them into compelling content.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Dutch (creation) and strong knowledge of French (transcreation).
  • Familiar with both short copy (e.g., banners, SoMe posts) and long copy (e.g., customer emails, news articles, video scripts).
  • Ability to incorporate SEO briefings into your work.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of the banking sector or willingness to develop expertise in it.
