Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CAD Application Management Specialist to provide Level 3 (L3) support, installation, and customization of critical CAD applications in a North American environment. This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work closely with ICT-PD staff, end users, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operation and updates of CAD and related applications.
Key Responsibilities:
NXLAUNCHPAD Support:
- Provide L3 support for NXLAUNCHPAD, a custom application used for launching Teamcenter and NX.
- Apply advanced JavaScript skills and extensive knowledge of the client’s North American (NA) environment.
Teamcenter and NX Installation & Customization:
- Manage the installation and customization of Teamcenter and NX applications in the client’s NA environment.
- Collaborate with ICT-PD teams and end users, leveraging strong communication and soft skills.
Data Transfer Application Support:
- Oversee the installation and customization of the Data Transfer application to ensure seamless operations.
Catia/3DCom Applications:
- Provide installation and customization support for Catia and 3DCom applications in the client’s NA environment.
Process Simulation and Related Applications:
- Install and customize Process Simulate, Plant Simulate, JACK, and VALISYS applications to meet the client’s specific requirements.
Network Fileshare Synchronization:
- Support the synchronization of configurations to network fileshares, requiring advanced Windows server and SMB expertise.
Performance Metrics:
- NXLAUNCHPAD Updates: Complete updates according to the schedule set by the business.
- Teamcenter and NX Updates: Ensure all installations and updates are completed within the business-defined timeline.
- Data Transfer Updates: Deliver installations and updates as per the business schedule, ensuring minimal downtime.
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and familiarity with NXLAUNCHPAD, Teamcenter, and NX environments.
- Strong expertise in CAD application installation and customization, including Catia, 3DCom, and Process Simulate.
- Proficiency in network configuration synchronization and experience with Windows server and SMB protocols.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with ICT-PD teams and end users.
- Ability to work standard EST hours and provide on-site support as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with manufacturing or engineering CAD environments.
- Relevant certifications in CAD software or IT systems are a plus.
